You have to know where you’ve been to know where you are going. Kappa holds a special place in its heart for Fraternity history, but every chapter of our organization has unique beginnings of its own. Each plays a part in shaping us today. Read more about our chapters’ histories at Kappapedia.
The Gamma Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma has a strong sisterhood and a rich history of excellence here at Alabama. Established in 1927, the Gamma Pi chapter prides itself on scholarship, the bonds of friendship, and strong principles.
We are leaders both on campus and in the Tuscaloosa community. Many of our alumnae continue to honor their commitment to Kappa by serving as leaders in the workplace and other communities. As the largest Kappa chapter in the nation, a sister is never far away!
